Security and data protection

How do you secure our electronic financial data?

Your financial data is stored in electronic format in Switzerland with a hosting company that applies the highest security standards. We do not store financial data in any physical form.

For our communications, we use a secure mail server based in Switzerland.

The data storage and email servers, as well as the virtual private network (VPN) provider, are beyond the reach of US and European jurisdictions.

Are our financial information treated as confidential?

Your financial data are processed exclusively by experts who are subject to professional secrecy and the ethical rules of EXPERTsuisse. Subject to legal proceedings, we are not authorised to disclose your financial information to anyone.

We do not use your financial data to provide services to third parties or outside the strict scope of the services defined in your mandate.

Are you subject to certain data protection standards?

We are subject to the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and its ordinance (DPO).

Can we get our data back at the end of the mandate?

Subject to legal constraints, we will return all your data at your request at the end of the mandate without keeping a copy.

Rates and prices

How are your prices determined?

Our prices are determined according to the regulations of EXPERTsuisse, depending on the level of expertise and the time spent on the mandate. Our prices are in no way determined by the result of our work or of your entity (i.e. share of the profit or of the added value).

Do you offer fixed price quotes?

Our offers are prepared after a thorough analysis that allows us to estimate the time and resources needed to provide the requested services. This allows us to offer you fixed price and conditions in advance. We make this commitment to ensure the predictability of your expenses.

For some services, this precise estimate is not possible. In this case, we define with you a budget and its corresponding objectives. We then carry out our work according to these constraints, to the best of our ability.

What is your hourly rate?

We are able to offer you an advantageous price structure thanks to our highly optimized cost structure. Do not hesitate to ask us.

Terms of the mandate

Is it necessary to sign a written contract?

Trust is at the center of the fiduciary relationship. By setting a clear framework, you can build your relationship with us on solid foundations. This is why we always establish a basis agreement with our clients in writing.

How are your contracts formulated?

Our contracts are based on EXPERTsuisse's models adapted for our company. We did set up two separate documents: a basis agreement for the fiduciary relationship and a proposal for services. The latter document summarizes the essential elements: details of agreed services, conditions, time frame, remuneration and terms of payment. This approach allows for a greater flexibility in the event of additional services.

How can we terminate our contract?

By definition, a mandate agreement can be terminated at any time by the client/principal, without justification: a simple e-mail is sufficient. The client remains obliged to compensate the agent for the work carried out by the latter until the contract was terminated.

Target audience

What type of company/organization that you are targetting?

Our client base is very broad: it ranges from small entities (e.g. start-ups, associations, VSEs), through medium-sized entities (e.g. local or regional SMEs) to international entities (e.g. Swiss subsidiaries and branches of international groups). We adapt our services to the specific needs of each client.

We are familiar with the issues related to corporations (i.e. Ltd/SA/AG, LLC/Sàrl/GmbH), foundations and associations, simple partnerships or consortiums, public or para-statal entities as well as cooperatives or sole proprietorships.

What is the sector of activity in which your clients operate?

The advices we offer are generally applicable in almost all business sectors. If you are not sure whether this is the case, please contact us: we can have a discussion about it together.

In which geographical area are your customers located?

Established in the heart of the Lake Geneva region, our main area of activity covers the French-speaking part of Switzerland. Depending on your needs, we can extend our field of action to the whole Switzerland or even abroad, knowing that our field of competence does not cover the legislation of other countries than Switzerland.
